Rock to offer one day special on season tickets

TORONTO - The Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club and the Toronto Sun encourage fans of all ages to be part of the Rock's quest for their sixth NLL championship in 2006 with a special $66 season pass on sale this Saturday, Nov. 5.
Join us at our "Party in the Square" to purchase your pass at this special one-day sale from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. You can also purchase the pass online at www.torontorock.com between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Nov. 5 only.
Season Pass - Just $9 per game per ticket!
For $66 (plus taxes and CRF), the Toronto Sun Rock Season Pass entitles the holder to a purple seat at each regular season home game plus the National Lacrosse League All Star Game on Feb. 25. It's a savings of over $100 per person.
"This is an incredible opportunity for any sports fan to be part of the Rock experience, whether for the first time, or to save big money off the single game prices," said Stephanie Kaman, director of sales for the Rock. "We're going to be ready for a big crowd Nov. 5 with Christmas just around the corner."
Once the season pass is purchased, pass holders will simply bring the pass to the Toronto Sun express line at the Air Canada Centre Ticket Office up to three days prior to the game to exchange for their ticket.
Party in the Square
Fans who come down to Yonge-Dundas Square will also be able to take part in interactive demonstrations on lacrosse, or get an autograph from or photo with their favourite player or Molson Canadian Hot Rocks dancer.
Join hosts "Two for the Show" on the day and listen to live music courtesy of Rick Temporao & The New Low, watch the Molson Canadian Hot Rocks perform, enjoy food and refreshments, and participate in the interactive lacrosse challenge in which fans can play against Rock players and local celebrities. And in partnership with the Toronto Rock, miCalendar will unveil the 2006 Toronto Rock wall calendar which can be purchased on site at the party or online. The Rock's inflatable shooting game will be set up for you to test your shooting accuracy, and many sponsors' booths will also be on display.
Join the Rock on Jan. 7, 2006, as they begin their quest for a sixth world championship against Arizona Sting at the Air Canada Centre at 7 p.m.
