YOUNGSTOWN, OH - Raythan Robbins has been playing lights out for the Lumberjacks in the race for a spot in the postseason, and continued his strong play making 36 saves enroute to a 4-2 Lumberjacks win on the road in Youngstown on Friday night.

Both Robbins and Colin Winn were perfect in the first period to carry a 0-0 tie into the first intermission. It took just 5:28 for the Phantoms to open the scoring in the second period and take a 1-0 lead. While on the power play Jake Rozzi played the puck towards the Muskegon net forcing Robbins to make a save. With the puck loose in front of the crease Shane Lachance pushed it past Robbins for his 31st goal of the season. Andrew Strathman recorded the secondary assist. His 34th of the season. Around a minute and a half later at the 7 minute mark of the period the Lumberjacks responded with a power play goal of their own. Sacha Boisvert fed the puck to Michael Callow who got it towards the net. There to clean it up was Cody Croal for his first of two goals of the season.
Youngstown answered back with another power play goal seven minutes later. This time, Andon Cerbone took a shot from the middle of the slot that was off target of the net, but in reach of Martin Misiak to redirect to the back of the cage.
Back on the power play in the final stages of the period Muskegon tied the game up at 2-2 with just 53 seconds before the second intermission. Whitcomb's assist extended his point streak to 4 games.
Tied heading into the third period the Lumberjacks took control of the game both physically and on the score sheet. Less than a minute and a half into the final frame the Jacks were back on the powervplay. Croal found Joe Connor in the slot who fired a shot on net. Winn came up with the save, but Callow parked in front tapped it to the back of the net for the first Muskegon lead of the contest.
