Rob and Shannon Zettler Collecting Donations for Taste of Success Celebrity Chef Challenge

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse Crunch Head Coach Rob Zettler, and wife Shannon, are participating as celebrity chefs in the Taste of Success Celebrity Chef Challenge benefiting Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection in Syracuse, New York.

The cooking challenge will take place on Thursday, June 11 at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Leading up to the event, the duo will be collecting donations as they work to hit their goal of $2,500. The celebrity chef that raises the most money will be named the winner.

The Taste of Success Celebrity Chef Challenge is unique culinary experience that pairs local celebrities against each other in order to raise money for Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection. Celebrity chefs are challenged to fundraise leading up to the event. During the challenge, the Zettlers will prepare personal recipes. Attendees can show their support for the Zettlers by donating money on their behalf. Individuals and organizations wishing to support the Zettlers can do so through a sponsorship, advertisements, purchasing tickets to the event or making an outright donation.

All funds raised will go towards Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, which helps at-risk youth graduate with the skills and confidence they need to be successful in college and the workforce. Having celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2012, Hillside Family of Agencies is one of the oldest family and youth non-profit human services organizations in the United States. The youth and family services organization provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services across central and western New York and in Prince George's County, M.D. Last year, Hillside Family of Agencies provided services to more than 10,000 youth and families in need.
