Roar Game Previews

Reading, PA- The Pennsylvania ROAR are excited to return home to the comforts of Santander Arena as they will host the Rochester Lancers. This game was postponed due to the weather last week and set for Thursday, February 20th with kickoff scheduled for 7:05 PM.

The ROAR are coming of a loss at the hands of the first place, Milwaukee Wave, who sit at the top of the standings for the 2013-14 MISL season. Max Touloute, was a bright spot as has been seen since his arrival with the Pennsylvania ROAR scoring one of the only two goals for the team. Touloute has 16 points in five games since joining the squad. They look for him to lead the offensive side of things as the veteran, Peter Pappas, continues to anchor the ROAR defense and mentor the young players.

The Lancers suffered defeat in their last outing by the Syracuse Silver Knights who kept the Lancers out of playoff contention. The Rochester Lancers have been led this season by Mauricio Salles and have enjoyed his return from injury only to have the team's leading goal scorer (36 points) suspended from play on Thursday from an ejection he was issued at the Silver Knights game. The Lancer's will look to Gary Boughton and his teammate Fauske who are second and third on the team's scoring leaderboard respectively to carry the work load.
