Roadrunners Return Home With Full Schedule

EDINBURG, Texas---- The Edinburg Roadrunners of United League Baseball (ULB) will return home starting Thursday July 23rd for an eight game home stand. They will host the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings and the Coastal Bend Thunder in two four game series. Amidst all the baseball there will be a number of promotions and appearances that will be held during the time the team is in town.

Thursday, the Roadrunners will be on hand at the Elsa Library to read to the kids as part of RIF (Reading Is Fundamental) Day from 1-2 pm then head to the field to gear up for the first of four games against the rival WhiteWings. As is the custom it will be Thirsty Thursday with $2 beer all night long.

Saturday brings the Allegiant Air Flyaway Giveaway brought to you by McAllen International Airport. Allegiant Air will be raffling off two round trip tickets to travel anywhere Allegiant Air flies. Fans can register to win in the souvenir shop and the name of the winner will be announced towards the conclusion of Saturdays' game.

Sunday is Kid's Night with $1-Admission for children in the Outfield Reserved Seat Sections of the ballpark.

Monday July 27th is another chance to meet and greet your Edinburg Roadrunners, along with Rowdy the Roadrunner, at Russo's New York Style Pizzeria at 7017 North 10th Street in McAllen. Fans can come enjoy some of Russo's lunch specials and meet their favorite Roadrunners who will be on hand from 12- 1:30 p.m. Fans are also encouraged to bring items for the players and Rowdy to autograph as well.

The White Wings are looking for revenge after dropping four games the last time they came to Edinburg. Game times for RGV series are 7:00pm Thursday thru Saturday and 6:00pm on Sunday. When Coastal Bend arrives on Monday all games start in their series at 7:00pm.
