
RoadRunners Partner With Independent 1310 KXAM

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement with Independent 1310 KXAM to broadcast a minimum of 42 regular season games for the upcoming 2007-08 season.
"We're very excited to welcome the Valley's original sports team to the KXAM family," said Don Sandler, KXAM's Station Manager. "The RoadRunners are an entertaining product, and we look forward to a successful partnership and a great season."
Independent 1310 KXAM will commence their broadcast schedule on Opening Night, Friday, Oct. 19 when the RoadRunners welcome the Utah Grizzlies to US Airways Center. A complete 2007-08 broadcast schedule is listed below.
Independent 1310 KXAM delivers the best mix of local and national talk radio, and was recently voted as the Valley's "Best Radio Station" by the readers of Phoenix Magazine.
The RoadRunners have also announced an extension of their partnership with B2 Networks to broadcast all 72 games and any playoff games during the 2007-08 season.
RoadRunners' fans can listen to the audio broadcast of each game by logging on to www.phxroadrunners.com and clicking on the "Listen Live" link located in the "Game Center" section.
For a third consecutive season, video web-casts will also be available for all 36 home games and select road contests by clicking the "Watch Online" link also located in the "Game Center" section. These broadcasts are available to fans for a charge of $6 per game, or you can purchase a B2 Power Play Season Pass for just $140. In order to be able to catch the action, fans must have a high speed internet connection (Cable, T1 or DSL) and Windows Media Player 9 or higher.
B2 Networks (b2now.com) is a premier provider of reliable and secure international television and video broadcasting systems, pay-per-view and billing systems. The broadband broadcasting company's network of arenas, stadiums, local venues, billing systems and data centers are currently in use to distribute live events to computer and television screens around the world. Dan Weiss and Jim Niekamp return to the broadcast booth for a third consecutive year as the "Voices of the RoadRunners".
The RoadRunners will visit the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League in the "Battle of the Desert" pre-season series at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. Tickets for both pre-season games are on sale now and will be $13 regardless of location in Tim's Toyota Center. The RoadRunners return to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 when they host the Utah Grizzlies to commence their third season in the desert.
