Phoenix RoadRunners News Release

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, will join forces with their teammates, the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association, and welcome in the 2006-07 NBA Season by celebrating "NBA Weekend" at 7:11 p.m. this Friday and Saturday at US Airways Center as they face-off against the reigning Pacific Division Champion Fresno Falcons.

As part of "NBA Weekend", the RoadRunners will wear special Phoenix Suns-themed jerseys for both games. These specialty jerseys, which will be worn a total of nine times during the 2006-07 regular season, will be auctioned off at the end of the year. The proceeds from the auction will benefit RoadRunners Charities and the Corporate Hat-Trick Program, a program that allows Phoenix area businesses to send underprivileged boys and girls in the community to future RoadRunners games.

The RoadRunners are also pleased to give away two of these authentic jerseys during the weekend that will be autographed by the entire 2006-07 Phoenix Suns.

The festivities will also include a special appearance by the world famous Phoenix Suns Gorilla on Friday and other entertainers throughout the weekend from the Suns family.

The first 2,000 fans through the doors on Friday will also receive RoadRunners' Thunderstix.

Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season are currently on sale and can be purchased at the US Airways Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com.

The RoadRunners continue their season-opening six game homestand as they welcome the Pacific Division Champion Fresno Falcons to US Airways Center at 7:11PM Friday. Information on season tickets, half-season packages, and flex plans are available by calling (602) 462-GOAL.
