Road Warriors Participate in No Shave November

Greenville, SC: The Greenville Road Warriors are pleased to announce their participation in No Shave November presented by the Greenville Hospital System. The Road Warriors are participating with GHS to hold No Shave November Night on November 15th to create prostate cancer awareness.

Road Warriors players and staff will not shave during the month of November in support of the great cause. During the game there will be a "best beard/mustache" contest among fans with 10 men selected from the stands. The selected group will be ushered to the ice for the 1st intermission to enter a fan voting contest with celebrity judges from Fox Carolina and 93.3 The Planet. All contestants will receive a gift card to Roosters Men's Grooming Center. The winner will be awarded a $50 gift certificate.at

Additionally the players and staff will be photographed to track their facial hair growth throughout the month and posting it to the Road Warriors' Facebook page.

On the night of the game, GHS is setting up a photo booth for fans to take pictures with fake mustashes that are given away at the door. The Greenville Hospital System is running a "tweet your seat" promotion. If you have a great beard/mustache you can submit pictures to the GHS twitter account and the winner will also receive a prize pack from GHS.

The Road Warriors return home tonight for Road Warrior Tailgate Weekend presented by HOT98.1 and X98.5. The first 1,500 Fans in the door receive a college colored koozie at tonight's game! Fans can enjoy FREE FOOD FROM CHIEFS WINGS AND FIREWATER, DISCOUNTED DRINKS AND LIVE ENTERTAINMENT at the Road Warriors Hockey Happy Hour presented by HOT 98.1 and X98.5 starting at 5 p.m. on the Charter Business Plaza.
