Rivet Named CHL All-Star Team Captain

LAREDO, TX: The Central Hockey League announced Tuesday that Laredo Bucks defensemen Adam Rivet was named the Captain of the CHL All-Star Team that will play in Prescott Valley, Arizona on January 11th.
The CHL All-Star team will face the Arizona Sundogs in the league's annual All-Star Game.
The 31 year old captain will be making his third All-Star appearance in seven professional seasons, all while playing for the Laredo Bucks. Rivet has appeared in 26 games this season, where he has scored 8 goals and has had 9 assists. He is currently tied for second place with the most points (17) for the Bucks this year. Rivet has appeared in a total of 353 regular season games, scoring 86 goals and 162 assists. He has also appeared in 61 playoff games, where he scored 7 goals and 33 assists.
Rivet, a native of Fort Erie, Ontario, was named to the CHL All-Rookie Team (05/06), a member of the Presidents' Cup Championship Team (05/06), CHL Defensemen of the Year Finalist (07/08), and a three time CHL All-Star (06/07, 09/10, 11/12).
