Camden Riversharks News Release
CAMDEN, NJ- With one swing of the bat, Camden outfielder Josh Rabe put up enough runs to beat the York Revolution Saturday Night. Rabe's two-run shot to left combined with strong pitching to beat the Revs for the second straight night.
Camden starter Chris Young pitched five innings, giving up just two hits and one run. Young was prefect through three but gave up double to York shortstop Keoni De Renne at the start of the fourth.
Riversharks second baseman Gary Cates solidified the win with a single that knocked in rightfielder LJ Biernbaum in the bottom of the seventh.
Four Rivershark pitchers combined to hold York to four hits. Alec Zumwalt pitched a one-hit ninth inning for the save that keeps Camden on top of the Liberty Division.
The series concludes tomorrow at 1 p.m., at Campbell's Field. York righthander Aaron Rakers last season, will face Camden righty Darren Sack. Tickets are available online at www.riversharks.com or by calling1-866-SHARKS.
