(Belle Vernon, PA) - The Pittsburgh RiverRats of the AIFA added two new exciting players to their roster with the signing of WR Marcus Hill and DE Glenroy Watkins to contracts for the upcoming 2008 season.

Hill (6'2"-211) played collegiately at Kent State of the MAC Conference from 2004-2006 where he recorded 72 receptions for 794 yards and 5 touchdowns. He is a native of Washington DC and attended Hargrave Academy in Chatham, VA. Hill earned first-team all-conference honors and was named to the Washington D.C. Pigskin Club All-Metro team as a senior.

Watkins (6'2"-240) was a standout defensive performer for Central Florida in Conference USA from 2004-2005. He appeared in eleven games as a junior in 2004, but his senior season in 2005 was cut short due to a knee injury. Watkins was a versatile high school athlete having played fullback, linebacker, punter, and kickoff returner at Sheepshead Bay High School (Brooklyn, NY) where his team won the New York State PSAL Championship in his senior year.

"Both Marcus and Glenroy bring a lethal combination of size and speed. Marcus caught 72 passes in a major conference and he's a big target which is invaluable at this level. Glenroy has been held back during his career somewhat with injuries, but his versatility and speed are intriguing to us, and we look forward to seeing him perform in training camp to see how he can help us the most." stated RiverRats Head Coach Shawn Liotta.
