
Rivermen Team to Visit Children's Hospital Today

Peoria, Ill. (December 16, 2008) - Director of Community Relations/Game Operations Lisa Broadhurst announced today that the Peoria Rivermen will be visiting the Children's Hospital of Illinois from 2-3 p.m. today.
The entire team will be on hand for a holiday visit to spend time with patients, sign autographs and take pictures. They will also be painting aprons for their upcoming "Tip a Riv Prime Rib Dinner."
The handmade designs will be auctioned off at the "Tip a Riv Prime Rib Dinner" held on Monday, March 2 at Gracie's Chicago Style Grille in Washington. The Rivermen players will act as waiters for the dinner with all tips and proceeds to benefit the Children's Hospital of Illinois.
