BILOXI, Miss. - Matthew Krahn stopped all 37 shots against as the Mississippi RiverKings (22-23-8) moved one step closer to the playoffs with a decisive 3-0 victory over the Mississippi Surge (23-23-7) on Friday night.

O'Brien glove side 7:15 into the middle frame to put the 'Kings up by one. Ten minutes later, the visitors added to their lead. Ian Finnerty took a Chris Campanale pass and buried the puck past O'Brien to give the RiverKings a 2-0 lead heading into the second intermission.
