Mississippi RiverKings News Release

(Southaven, MS) --- Single game tickets for the Mississippi RiverKings 2009-2010 Central Hockey League season will go on sale for the first time this Monday, September 14th, at 10:00 AM, according to RiverKings Ticket Operations Manager Marcos Jimenez.

RiverKings fans will be able to purchase tickets for the regular season at the same locations as they have in the past, with the primary locations for RiverKings ticket purchases being the DeSoto Civic Center box office and Ticketmaster.

Normal box office hours at the DeSoto Civic Center, 4560 Venture Drive in Southaven, are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Fans may purchase tickets from Ticketmaster locally over the telephone at 901-525-1515, on-line at www.ticketmaster.com, or in person at local Ticketmaster customer service outlets.

Single-game tickets will remain at the same prices as last season, ranging from $10 to $25. Jimenez says by holding the line on price, RiverKings hockey remains the best professional sports entertainment value in the Mid-South.

"Fans that come out to our games experience a full evening's worth of entertainment both on and off the ice, as noted by the RiverKings being named league's "Game Operations Team of the Year" for our fan experience," Jimenez said. "Coupled with our on-ice success with the team last season, we're confident that RiverKings hockey is an event not to be missed. We look forward to our fans strongly supporting us and watching us in person several times this season."

Single-game tickets are available only from the DCC box office and Ticketmaster; they cannot be purchased from the RiverKings offices. All other ticket plans are available only from the RiverKings front offices; including a variety of season ticket plans, flex offerings, group tickets, and fundraiser ticket programs.

Group ticket rates are available for groups of 20 or more. Non-profit groups seeking to raise funds for their organization also have the opportunity to do that through the RiverKings fundraiser program.

Details on all of the RiverKings ticket offerings are available by calling the front office at 662-342-1755, or by going on-line at the team's official web site, www.riverkings.com.

The 2009-2010 regular season for the RiverKings will begin at home on Friday, October 16th, beginning at 7:05 PM against the Tulsa Oilers at the DeSoto Civic Center.
