FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Mississippi RiverKings (18-21-7) picked up a point, but fell in overtime against the Fayetteville FireAntz (27-14-3) 4-3.

The RiverKings scored early for the third straight game. Fayetteville then battled back early in the third to tie the game. Bobby Reed took a Brandon Richardson pass and beat Krahn to send the game to overtime.

In overtime, the teams traded chances, but a miscue in the RiverKings zone put the puck on the stick of Derek Elliott who set up Ben Contini who gave Fayetteville the 4-3 victory in overtime.
