SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Help the RiverKings save lives by donoting during Lifeblood's 2012 Donor Fest event! The event lasts from June 11th to the 16th and is Lifeblood's largest drive of the year, targeted at collecting enough blood to save 4,500 people! There are several Lifeblood Centers around the Mid-south area, but be sure to visit the location at 577 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671 on Thursday, June 14 to have your name entered into a RiverKings ticket raffle.

Why donate to Lifeblood? -The greater Memphis area is home to the second busiest trauma center in the country. -Despite Lifeblood's best efforts, over one third of the blood supply needed for local patients is imported from other donation facilities across the country. -Every year Lifeblood supplies more than 100,000 units of blood and blood products for local patient transfusion. -Lifeblood's friendly and efficient clinical staff can get you in and out of our donor centers within a typical lunch break! -For more information on Donor Fest 2012, visit the event's website at www.dono rf est.org/ .
