THE MATCH UP

The RiverKings continue with their holiday road trip with game two of a string of seven in a row on the road. Both teams will be looking to bounce back after losses last night. The Thunder fell 4-2 in their twice postponed game at Colorado, while the RiverKings dropped a 5-2 game at Bossier-Shreveport. The RiverKings maintained their four point lead in the Northeast Division as Austin defeated Youngstown 4-1 last night. Wichita is in third place in the Northwest Division at 10-11-2 (22 pts), 14 points back of Colorado. The RiverKings and Thunder have split the first four games of their seven game season series with the RiverKings winning 6-2 in the most recent affair last Friday at the DCC. In the all-time series between these 15th season franchises, the RiverKings are 46-39-13, 13-27-7 at the Kansas Coliseum.
