
RiverKings Announce Roster Moves

SOUTHAVEN, Miss - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that defenseman Tomas Parizek has been placed on team suspension while forward Corey Tyrell was added to the 21-Day IR.
Parizek, 22, was in his first year with the RiverKings. The Czech Republic-native has played in 21 games for Mississippi and nine previously with the Pensocola Ice Flyers for the 2016-2017 season. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound rookie has earned a total of three points (1G,2A) and 21 penalty minutes. He opted to pursue opportunities in the Czech Republic for the remainder of the season.
Tyrell, 26, recently joined the RiverKings in January after spending time with the Columbus Cottonmouths this season. The 6-foot, 200 pound forward has played in eight games total for the Riverkings scoring five points (2G, 3A). Previously, the Airdrie, Alberta native played in 19 games with Columbus to the start his first season of professional hockey. He earned five points (4G,1A) with the Cottonmouths.
