RiverKings Announce 20th Anniversary Ticket Packages

Southaven, Miss. --- The Mississippi RiverKings of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), are happy to announce some new and familiar ticket packages for the 2011-2012 20th Anniversary Season.

To begin, the RiverKings will offer discounted tickets for the only home preseason game on Friday, October 14th against the Huntsville Havoc. All Blue, Gold, and Red Level seats will be sold at a rate of $10. Game time at the Desoto Civic Center is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The following are the new Ticket Packages being introduced for the inaugural season in the SPHL:

-Teen Night: $10 tickets available to High School students for Friday night games with valid student ID. Students also receive voucher for food and drink item. (*Valid in Specific Red Level Section through purchase at DCC Box Office Only*)

-Kid's Deals: Kids 12 and under will receive a $10 ticket with the purchase of one adult ticket at full price. (*Valid in all seat locations through purchase at DCC Box Office Only. Limit three kids per adult.*)

The following are the returning Ticket Packages for the inaugural season in the SPHL:

-4-for-$44: Fans receive 4 Red Level tickets to a Sunday game, 4 hot dog vouchers, and 4 soda vouchers for $44. (*For sale through TicketMaster.com only.*)

-2-for-Tuesday: Fans receive either 2 red level seats, 2 hot dog vouchers, and 2 soda vouchers for $26 OR 2 gold level seats, 2 hot dog vouchers, and 2 soda vouchers for $36.

"Even with all of the changes the RiverKings franchise endured over the off-season, our primary focus was to cater to our fans by not only continuing to make it a family friendly atmosphere, but to also make our game more affordable in the current economic climate," says General Manager Dave 'Ab' Mattice. "With these various new ticket packages, I think we have come closer to achieving that."

Group and Birthday packages are also available again for this season. Tickets are available at a discounted rate to groups of 20 or more. The group leader receives an autographed gift and two vouchers to a future RiverKings game, as well as recognition for those in attendance on the new high definition video screens located inside the Desoto Civic Center.

Birthday Packages include 20 game tickets in gold level ($353) or red level ($273) with the birthday child receiving recognition on the video screens, a birthday card autographed by the entire RiverKings team, visits from the mascots, and a free Kids' Club membership.

Fundraisers will also be available to non-profit and other 501(c)(3) organizations eligible to receive at least $2,000 by selling a minimum of 200 gold level tickets.

Season Tickets and Flex Packs are also still available for the 20th Anniversary Season. Current Season Ticket Packages start at less than $10 per game.
