PITTSBURGH (March 2, 2015) - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are pleased to announce that South African midfielder Matshidiso "Lebo" Moloto has agreed terms for the 2015 USL season.

"Lebo brings creativity and unpredictability to the midfield and he's a good finisher," said Riverhounds head coach Mark Steffens.

"He thinks the game very quickly and knows when to play simple or change the point of attack."

Moloto moved to the United States in 2009 on a soccer scholarship from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky. He was named as the NAIA national tournament's Most Outstanding Offensive Player during his freshman year as the Blue Raiders won the national title.

The school won the national crown again two years later when Moloto netted the game-winning golden goal in the NAIA championship decider.

Moloto, 24, spent three seasons with the Des Moines Menace USL Premier Development League side during his collegiate career where he played alongside recent Riverhounds signing Stephen Okai.

The Seattle Sounders selected Moloto with the 54th pick of the 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft.

Moloto has represented South Africa at Under-17 level.
