The Johnstown Riverhawks are pleased to announce the Following players have re-signed for the upcoming 2006 season Jason Cherry K, Dave Pisanick DL/OL, and Marko Thomas WR/DB.
Jason Cherry K (5'10" 170) from UMASS. Jason returns for his second season with the Riverhawks after leading them last season in kick scoring.
Dave Pisanick DL/OL (6'1" 240) of Allegheny College of PA. Dave comes back after an impressive rookie season with the Riverhawks. He was a terror on opposing offenses as a ferocious pass rusher who helped to key several Riverhawks victories going into the playoffs.
Marko Thomas WR/DB (5'10" 185) of Geneva College PA. Marko was a key component of the Riverhawks offence He had the nack for the big play on offence and special teams. Marko had many key contributions during the Riverhawks run to the playoffs.
The Riverhawks kick off their season on the road March 4, 2006 against the Steubenville Stampede.
