Riverhawks Look for Sweep Over Rats in "River Rivalry 2"

JOHNSTOWN, PA - Tommorow Night the Johnstown Riverhawks will try and make it two in a row against the Pittsburgh Riverrats, their Northern Division Rival. The Hawks beat the Rats just two weeks ago in a hotly contested game that saw Johnstown's defense force five turnovers in a 43-13 victory. Head Coach Steven G. Folmar doesn't believe this contest will be as lopsided, "Now both these teams know each other, opponents start picking up on tendancies. This game is going to be a lot closer than the first one." Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05pm at the Rostraver Ice Arena in Belle Vernon, PA.
The Johnstown Riverhawks, a proud member of the American Indoor Football Association, will return home next week to take on the division leading Reading Express. Kickoff is Saturday Night at 7:05pm at the Cambria War Memorial Arena.
