The Tip Off

The Quad City Riverhawks had thier nine game wining streak was finally snapped at the 1st PBL Showcase on Tuesday. An Arkansas loss to Rockford earlier in the day though helped Quad City clinch their first PBL West Division regular season crown.

Late Three Downs Impact

Moline, IL- A battle between the top two teams in PBL West Division turned out to be a heavyweight battle. Quad City jumped out to a double digit lead behind the spark plug of recent signee Lonnie Randolph. The Riverhawks couldn't hold the lead though as Arkansas chipped away and eventually took the lead from the home team. Down by seven in the fourth QC came back to tie the game at 104. The PBL's leading scorer drilled a three pointer with under thirty seconds to go for the win. Willie Mitchell lead the team with 27 points while Bobby Anderson earned a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds.

Riverhawks Split a Pair at the Showcase

Chicago, IL- The Quad City Riverhawks and Dallas Defenders kicked off the 1st ever PBL Triple "S" Showcase Monday at the Attack Athletics Center in Chicago. The 'Hawks and Defenders played a close game until QC scored 7 points in less than 30 seconds. With the score tied at 92 Antiony Hardin was fouled hard as he was shooting. Dallas coach Chuck Davisson was given a technical foul after arguing the call. Hardin hit all four free throws. On the very next possession Willie Mitchell was fouled while shooting and completed a three point play. Ryan Edwards had an

outstanding game recording his first triple double of the season with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Both Quinnel Brown and Bobby Anderson led the team with 23 points.

The Riverhawks quest to win ten straight was halted on Tuesday by the Maryland Nighthawks. The Nighthawks downed Quad City 101-98. The Riverhawks had five players score in double figures with Bobby Anderson leading the way with 20 points.

Riverhawks Take on Fury

Moline, IL- Friday, March 7th the Rockford Fury make their first visit to Wharton Field House to take on the Quad City Riverhawks. The last time these two teams met was

February 9 in Rockford. Keith Gaydon lead the 'Hawks to their second win over the Fury with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Riverhawks General Manager Eric Hutchins announced a special ticket deal for families for Friday's game. A family can purchase four tickets for $20. Also the first 250 families to enter the Field House will receive a voucher for a trip to Mexico.

Post Game Party Announced

The Quad City Riverhawks host their second post game party on Friday. Join the Riverhawks at the Davenport Hooters following the game. The Hooters restaurant is located at 110 E. Kimberley Road in Davenport.

Riverhawks Team Up With Wal-Mart to Support Children's Miracle Network.

The Quad City Riverhawks and Wal-Mart have teamed up to support the Children's Miracle

Network. The Riverhawks will be selling tickets to the final regular season home game on March 15th. Tickets will be sold for $10 with $5 from each ticket being donated to the Children's Miracle

Network. Tickets will be sold Saturday, March 8th from 10am-2pm and Wednesday, March 12th from 10 am-1pm at the Moline Wal-Mart off of John Deer Road. Riverhawks team members will be

signing autographs on March 8th as well.

Join the Riverhawks for Dinner

The Quad City Riverhawks are offer fans three opportunities to have dinner with the team. The Riverhawks will be holding team meals on Monday, March 10, Tuesday March 18th and Monday, March 24th at Bishop's Buffet in the South Park Mall, Moline. The team will be eating from 5:30- 6:30 PM.
