RiverHawks Announce New Head Coach

Greenville, SC- The Greenville RiverHawks announced the team's new inaugural season Head Coach in a press conference held today at the BI-LO Center.

Ray Isaac will lead the team into the 2004 season. Isaac was the quarterback coached by Jim Tressel at Youngstown State University for the 1991 National Championship, who returned seven years later as a student coach for the team's 1998 National Championship season. Isaac has also played in both the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League. Most recently, Isaac was the interim Head Coach for the RiverHawks intrastate rival the Myrtle Beach Stingrays.

Isaac, excited about the prospects for the upcoming season, plans to announce his coaching staff and several player signings in the coming days.
