Players Show Potential at RiverHawks Scrimmage
March 20, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Tennessee/Greenville RiverHawks News Release
Greenville, SC- Greenville RiverHawks Head Coach Ray Isaac was pleased with the talent at his team's intra-squad scrimmage today at the Greenville Tennis Center.
"I saw what I was looking for," said Isaac as he left the field. "We have players who have the skill and dedication to be on this team."
Isaac's coaching staff has several decisions to make in the next 48 hours.
"It definitely won't be easy, all these players are talented, however we only have 21 spaces on the roster," said Isaac. " I am confident we'll have a quality product on the field. Now it's time to narrow it down and focus on game one."
Pro Notes
WR/TE Myqual Spann (Edward Waters College) had a long road trip to today's scrimmage. Spann returned to Greenville from a tryout with the Minnesota Vikings in just enough time to join his teammates on the field. RiverHawks single game tickets are on sale now.
