LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks have activated former major-league pitcher Mike Wood from the seven-day disabled list.
Wood was on the disabled list with a strained right pectoral muscle, retroactive to June 5. He left his start June 4 with the injury after he pitched one inning. He is 0-2 with a 3.18 ERA in four starts.
To make room for Wood, the RiverHawks put Chris Pfalzgraf on the seven-day DL with a pulled hamstring. Pfalzgraf is 0-2 with a 5.65 ERA. Pfalzgraf took the loss in the RiverHawks' 12-8 defeat in the nightcap of a doubleheader against Fargo.
