RiverDogs upend Elmira

ELMIRA, NY - Evgeny Lazarev scored a pair of goals and a 39 save night from Mike D'Alessandro paved the way for a 4-1 RiverDogs victory over the Elmira Jackals. Lazarev got the RiverDogs on the board early at 1:02. Konstantin Kalmikov evens up the game midway through the first. The RiverDogs took control and scored three straight on goals from John DiPace, Lazarev's second of the game, and Matt Goody. With the victory, the RiverDogs improve their record to 27-24-5, 59 points in the Eastern Division.

The RiverDogs next opponents on the road trip will be their top rivals, the Roanoke Valley Vipers on Friday, March 10th, and Saturday, March 11th. The next RiverDogs game at the Richmond Coliseum is Wednesday, March 22nd, when they play host to Roanoke Valley at 7:05 pm.
