(Cedar Rapids, IA) In a little less than 24 hours and in a different state the Cedar Rapids River Raiders lose one on the road. Cedar Rapids 109, Kansas 120 in regulation. Dean Oliver walks away the leading scorer with 27 points and Bingo Merriex makes his presence known with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
River Raiders next scheduled home game will be Thursday May 6 at 7:15 tip off against the Westchester Wildfire. G-man the NBA mascot of the Washington Wizards will be here to entertain and provide a halftime dunking show. Also NBA legend John Starks will be making an appearance back in Cedar Rapids that night as the coach of the Wildfire.
