River Drivers Defeat Titans for Second Straight, 9-6

Berlin, NH - Tom Tracy scored a two goals and assisted on three others, marking his tenth multi-goal effort of the season and season high five point night, to lead the Berlin River Drivers to a 9-6 victory over the Danbury Titans on Friday night at Notre Dame Arena.

Tyler Prendergast also added two goals while Curtis Warren, Jiri Pestuka, Andre Niec, Jay Croop and Steven Gallo added single tallies while helping the River Drivers record their 8th win of the 2015-16 campaign and move the club into playoff contention.

Danbury's John Scorcia and Tyler Gjurich recorded two goals each with helpers from Steve Brown and Matt Caranci as River Drivers netminder Paul Bourbeau Jr turned aside 52 of 58 shots he faced.

The River Drivers, who improve to 8-3-4-16, continue thier four game home stand tomorrow night when they host the Brewster Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. before welcoming the Dayton Demolition on Feb. 12 and 13th.
