Riva Commits to Lake Forest College

Springfield, Illinois - The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Hayden Riva has announced his collegiate commitment to Lake Forest College!

Riva hails from Lakeville, CT and has been with the Jr. Blues the last two seasons. He played 97 games in a Jr. Blues jersey tallying 17 goals and 17 assists while being named an assistant captain during the 2022-23 season.

"Hayden has been one of our most reliable and dependable players from the moment he arrived in Springfield," said Head Coach Todd Pococke.. "He showed up to the rink everyday and is a true warrior. Lake Forest just got a wonderful player and an even better young man."

Hayden joins Jake Peterson (Air Force), James Callahan (Air Force), Tyler Borgula (Quinnipiac), Cole Lonsdale (RIT), Nikita Nikora (Dartmouth), Adyn Merrick (Northern Michigan), and Hagen Moe (Bowling Green) to make an NCAA commitment.
