
Rio Gets Second Straight Shut Out As Cats Dominate Shawinigan

Four power-play goals for the Moncton Wildcats gave them their fifth straight win and second straight shut-out on home ice with a 4-0 win over the Shawinigan Cataractes on Sunday afternoon in front of 4195 fans.
Two man advantage goals in both the first and second paved the way for the Cats victory. Ted Stephens had a pair, with Kelsey Tessier and Randy Cameron, doing the damage for Moncton. The Wildcats out shot Shawinigan 41-11 over the 60 minutes.
The Wildcats will hold their skills competition Monday night at the Petitcodiac Arena starting at 6:00pm.
Moncton's next game is set for Saturday at the Metro Centre when they play a home and home series with the Halifax Mooseheads. Fans are advised next Sunday's game is a 2pm start at the Coliseum.
