
RimRockers sign Todd Day

Little Rock, AR. The ABA Arkansas RimRockers signed Todd Day to the 2004-2005 roster. Day, a former Arkansas Razorback All-American, who played from 1989-1992 will begin practicing with the RimRockers immediately.
"We're excited to have a player of Todd Day's experience and talent as a member of the RimRockers organization," said Coach Joe Harge." "He has strong ties with the state and with the intense tradition of basketball here. I believe he will be a rich investment in the state and will bring a winning mentality to an already forceful team."
During his career at Arkansas, Day was named Southwest Conference Player of the Year; inished second in the SWC in scoring, averaging 20.7 points per game; set UA single season scoring record with 786 points and was the consensus all-SWC and Most Valuable Player at the 1990 SWC Tournament.
During his career in the NBA, Day led the Boston Celtics in 1996-97 with three-pointers made (126) and attempts (348) and set a career-high with 108 steals; scored a career-high 41 points, tying Larry Bird's record for points in a quarter (24); set a Milwaukee Bucks single-season record in 1994-95 for three pointers made (163) and attempted 418 and was Milwaukee's first-ever lottery pick to be selected eight overall in the 1992 NBA Draft.
The Arkansas RimRockers, owned by Larry Crain, Sr., will begin thedir season November 16 at Alltel Arena. The team scheduled 18 home games in a 36 game season.
