Pit Bulls to attend Robert Morris beach party

Pittsburgh, PA. Freddie Lewis, GM of the Pennsylvania Pit Bulls professional basketball team today announced that the team would participate in Robert Morris University Island Sports Center's first anniversary celebration on Friday, Oct 22 and Saturday, Oct 23. According to Lewis, "Our goal is to become in integral part of the area's sports community; we are pleased and proud that Brian Stevens, the Sports Center's Special Project & Event Coordinator, asked us to be a part of their celebration. We are looking forward to it."

Stevens added, "To celebrate, the ISC is having a huge Beach Party, complete with a professional sand sculptor and live bands - and we also will have Direct Marketing Tables hosted by local companies and organizations to promote themselves. We are also pleased and proud to have the new Pennsylvania Pit Bulls joining the festivities. We hope to have 7000 or more people attend."

Lewis concluded, "Our season begins in about a month. We're putting together a very hot and competitive team and hopefully we'll have players, coaches and others there to sign autographs and meet the public."
