McKeesport, PA. Freddie Lewis, GM of the ABA Pennsylvania Pit Bulls professional basketball team held a press conference on Thursday to make several announcements. According to Lewis, "We've put together an outstanding group of people to operate the team including our Head Coach, tom Washington; Asst. Coach, Pat Blue; Director of Community Relations, Phil Williams; Team Physician, Dr. Rudy Antonsic, and Office Manager, Alyanna Peters.

Lewis added, "The team will be playing at Penn State University, McKeesport with the home opener November 19th vs the Maryland NightHawks. The first 50 fans will get a gift from the team. Mayor Jim Brewster will welcome the team to McKeesport and plans on being the 11th man for the home opener, dressed and ready to play. An avid basketball fan, May Brewster ran a basketball league for over 20 years.

The Pit Bulls will hold their final tryout camp on Saturday and Sunday, November 6th and 7th at Penn State - McKeesport. The Veterans Camp opens Monday, November 8th.
