November 2, 2005 - NBA G League (G League)
Arkansas RimRockers News Release

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., November 2- The Arkansas RimRockers announce the three remaining players from the 2004-05 squad to return and compete in the RimRockers 2005 training camp. University of Arkansas' Brandon Dean, Oregon States' Brian Jackson and the North Texas' Shawnson Johnson round out the returnees list as the RimRockers' training camp nears.

"We are excited to have Brandon back," Head Coach Joe Harge said. "He brings excitement and athleticism at both the point guard and 2-guard spot. He is an Arkansas Favorite and we are lucky to have him back with us."

The newly signed players will join the 10 drafted players from the D-leagues' player pool on November 3, as well as two league-allocated players and the free-agent pick, Clay Tucker from the local tryout camp. All 17 men will vie for spots in training camp for the upcoming season that opens November 18.

"I'm surprised and excited to have Brian back," Head Coach Joe Harge said. "He turned down quite a few offers to rejoin us. He brings a toughness and blue collar mentality to our team and we are fortunate to have him."

Dean, Jackson and Johnson were year-long starters for the RimRockers, playing guard, forward and center respectively.

"Shawnson improved as much as any player in the league last year. He made great progress and we are ecstatic to have him back with us," Harge said. "Quality big guys are tough to find, and to have both him and Brian back makes me feel confidant in our ability to compete in the D-League."
