RimRockers raise funds for Arkansas Special Olympics

Little Rock, AR. (Thursday, February 17)- The Arkansas RimRockers helped the Arkansas Special Olympics raise approximately $3,000 on February 19. The RimRockers hosted special guests Spider-Man and Sponge Bob Square Pants to take pictures with children throughout the game. Each picture cost $5 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the organization. Bedford's Camera and Video took the pictures and are available for pick up beginning today at the Bedford's in North Little Rock.

"We appreciate the Special Olympics and what they do for our community,"

Emily Wade, director of community relations, said. "The volunteers were a delight to work with and are passionate about what they do. The RimRockers would be honored to work with them anytime."

Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased through the Alltel Arena Box Office by calling 501-975-7575. Group prices apply for groups of ten or more and may be reserved by calling the RimRockers' front office at 501-975-HOOP (4667).
