St. Louis Flight News Release
(St. Louis, MO) -- Jabari Johnson and Jimmy King combined for 45 points and sparked Texas to a 102-to-89 road win Sunday in St. Louis over the Flight. St. Louis had to play the fourth quarter without leading scorer Cedric Moodie due to a twisted ankle. The win avenged a Thursday loss on their home floor (88-to-84) and avoided a costly losing streak.
Tyrone Lee led the Flight (10-16) with 21 points and nine rebounds. Other St. Louis contributors were forwards Brian Edwards and Justice Sueing. Each scored 18 points in over forty minutes of play. Moodie's injury interrupted a three game streak of games where he scored 20 or more points.
Deron Rutlidge scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds and Johnny Tyson added 15 points and collected six boards for the Tycoons who shot and even fifty percent from the field.
