LITTLE ROCK, Ark., September 15- The Arkansas RimRockers announce tryouts for local players who wish to make the 2005-06 training camp roster. The camp is scheduled for October 1-2 at P.A.R.K., located at 6915 Geyer Springs Road in Little Rock. Tryout spots are limited to the first 100 applicants. All applicants must fill out a registration packet and mail it to the Arkansas RimRockers' office, ATTN: Try-Out Camp, at 5980 Wadley Road, Sherwood, AR 72120. The cost of camp is $100, and must be postmarked by September 23, 2005. Same-day registration cost for the camp is $125 and runs from 8:00-9:30 a.m. on October 1. However, there is no guarantee of a try-out spot. All local athletes are welcome to tryout, but must be at least 20 years of age. The RimRockers team training camp opens the week of November 5. The NBA Development League includes the Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros (Texas), Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Florida Flame (Ft. Myers), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.), Tulsa 66ers (Okla.), as well as a team in Albuquerque (N.M.).

Designed to help grow the sport of basketball both domestically and internationally, the league also offers fun, family entertainment at affordable prices. The D-League is a source of on-court talent for the NBA's 30 teams and is a diverse human resources pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
