The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American wide receiver Randy Satterfield and Canadian running back David Savard.

Satterfield (6'3-196 lbs) comes to the Riders after a spectacular 2019 season with the Lyon College Scots. The New Jersey native and college junior led the SAC in both receiving yards with 867 and in touchdown receptions with 11. He surpassed 100 receiving yards in four games, had four multi-touchdown games and set the program record for single-season receptions, points, yards and career touchdowns. Satterfield also made his mark on special teams, returning both a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns. He ranked in in the top 10 in the NAIA in all-purpose yards per game with 152.9 and total all-purpose yards with 1,529. For his efforts, Satterfield was named an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention and as a First-Team All-SAC selection and wide receiver and as a kick and punt returner. He was named SAC newcomer and Athlete of the Year.
Savard (6'1-215 lbs) is joining the Riders after spending five collegiate seasons at the University of Sherbrooke. Savard has been an integral part of the Vert & Or's special teams throughout his university career, taking the field for every return play. For his strong leadership on and off the field, he was named one of the teams four captains. Savard played in the CFL's 2018 East vs. West game and took part in the 2019 CFL Eastern Regional Combine.
