Richmond RiverDogs News Release

Richmond, VA - The Richmond RiverDogs, proud members of the United Hockey League, announced today that tickets for their two pre-season contests with the Roanoke Valley Vipers are officially on sale.

The games, taking place at the 700-seat Skate Nation Plus on October 14th and 15th, are being tabbed as the "Battles on Broad Street" and are expected to create an instant rivalry between the two Virginia squads. In addition to the two tune-ups, the Eastern Division foes will go head-to-head 18 times during the regular season, each team hosting nine contests.

"We are going to show fans right from the opening face-off what kind of team they'll be rooting for this season," said Head Coach and General Manager Robbie S. Nichols. "Tough, physical, big, fast, and tough!"

Season-ticket holders for the Dogs have the first chance to purchase tickets to the pre-season games, priced at $11 for all seats. Tickets go on sale to the general public on October 3rd, provided the games are not already sold out. We encourage season-ticket holders to reserve their tickets as early as possible.

The regular season commences on Friday, October 21st, as the RiverDogs host the Adirondack Frostbite at the Richmond Coliseum. Individual game tickets for all Richmond home games will be available for purchase beginning in early-October. We will keep you updated with all developments regarding ticket sales as we draw closer to the season. Season tickets, FlexPaks, birthday parties and group packages are available through the RiverDogs' office. For more information on tickets or upcoming games, please call our office at (804) 225-PUCK (7825).

PLEASE NOTE: Our website is currently under construction as plans for a new site are in development. The new address will be www.riverdogsuhl.com. We hope to have this functional within the next few weeks and appreciate your patience throughout this process.
