Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Sunday. Pitcher Joey Gonzalez has been transferred from Fayetteville (Advanced-A) to Quad Cities. Pitcher Brett Conine has been transferred from Quad Cities to Fayetteville (Advanced-A). Outfielder Carlos Machado has been transferred from Quad Cities to extended spring training.

Gonzalez will be joining the River Bandits for the second time this season. He made one appearance with the team in Clinton on April 25. He has pitched five times out of the bullpen in Fayetteville where he was 0-1 with a 5.06 earned run average.
Conine, the Astros 11th round selection in 2018, went 3-2 with a 1.91 ERA in six appearances with the Bandits. He struck out 40 and walked only six batters in 33.0 innings. The opposition is batting just .162 against him.
Gonzalez will once again wear #37. The active roster currently sits at 24 players, one short of the 25-player limit.
