Rhode Island FC News Release
PAWTUCKET, RI - Rhode Island FC announced today that it has added an additional 250 seats to its set up at Bryant University's Beirne Stadium, bringing the total match-day capacity to 5,252. The additional seats are being added to the East Side Field Seats sections and the West Bleachers, sections that had previously sold out. Additionally, the club announced that it now has season ticket members representing all 39 of Rhode Island's cities and towns.
"Our fans are ready to kick off our inaugural season. We're thrilled to be able to expand the seating bowl and open up our doors for more fans," said Rhode Island FC President Brett Luy. "From the start, we have promised to be a team for all Rhode Island, and that is reflected in the fact that we will have fans from all 39 cities and towns at our matches. We look forward to hosting our fans and season ticket members at different events and celebrations leading up to our first match in March and encourage all soccer fans to act quickly to secure tickets for the 2024 season before they sell out."
Rhode Island FC broke all known USL records for inaugural season ticket deposits when it first unveiled its crest last November. Excitement for the club's first season is building. Earlier this month, a capacity crowd of approximately 350 fans turned out to The Guild Pawtucket on a Monday night for the club's kit reveal.
The club made its first player announcement this fall. Since then, they have introduced a dozen players, including its striker, JJ Williams.
With this new inventory, limited season ticket packages are still available in all sections. The club will soon make flex plans and mini-plans available, pending seat availability. Rhode Island FC will make its USL Championship debut in early March 2024 and will play its home matches during its inaugural season at Beirne Stadium at Bryant University while the state-of-the-art stadium at Tidewater Landing is completed. 2024 Season Ticket Members will have priority access to season tickets for the 2025 season at Tidewater Landing.
