
Loudoun United FC Sign Stalwart Defender Robby Dambrot Through 2025

Leesburg, VA. - Loudoun United FCtoday announced that the club has signed defender Robby Dambrot to a two-year contract, pending league and federation approval.
Dambrot, 29, joins the Red-and-White for his second stint with the club after most recently competing in the USL Championship for Indy Eleven and Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
"We're ecstatic to welcome Robby [Dambrot] back to Loudoun United," said Head Coach Ryan Martin. "He is a talented and competitive defender, who can play numerous roles. His mentality and personality will be a great addition to our leadership group and overall club culture moving forward."
From 2019 to 2021, Dambrot amassed 33 appearances, one goal and two assists for the Red-and-White. The native of Akron, Ohio was one of five Loudoun players to see over 2,000 minutes of action in 2021. The defender made his professional debut for Loudoun United on August 14, 2019.
Dambrot signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds ahead of the 2022 season, scoring once in his five appearances before joining Indy Eleven. From 2022 to 2023, Dambrot anchored the Eleven's backline, recording 39 appearances.
"I'm extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to reconnect with Coach Ryan [Martin] and Loudoun United FC," said Robby Dambrot. "I am looking forward to giving as much as I can to a club and community that has given so much to me."
Before launching his professional career, Dambrot played collegiate soccer at University of Akron from 2013 to 2017, helping his hometown school to the 2015 Men's College Cup Semifinals. He finished his college career in 2018 with the University of Pittsburgh.
