Rochester Rhinos News Release

ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Rhinos will be making their annual trip to Camp Good Days' Recreational Facility on the shore of Keuka Lake on Thursday, July 25th.

"Camp Good Days and Special Times is a program that we have participated in for many years now." Rochester Rhinos Head Coach Pat Ercoli said. "Gary Mervis and his staff always do a great job putting together a day of programming that's a great experience not only for the campers, but for our players as well. All of our players, coaches and staff are looking forward to another wonderful experience this year."

The Doing A World Of Good Program is a residential camping program hosting children with cancer from around the world for two weeks, along with American children with cancer or sickle cell anemia, for one week. International campers participating in this year's Doing A World Of Good Program are from the Bahamas, Mexico, Germany, Dominican Republic, and Ethiopia.

"The owners, coaches and players from the Rochester Rhinos have been great friends and supporters of the children and families at Camp Good Days," says Gary Mervis, Chairman & Founder of Camp Good Days. "It is always one of the highlights for the campers participating in the Doing A World Of Good Program to have the opportunity to meet the players, have lunch, and play soccer and other games with the team for an afternoon."

Rochester Rhinos players, coaches, and staff will have lunch with the campers at 12:30PM before they participate in games and activities with the campers beginning at 1:15PM. Camp Good Days' Recreational Facility is located on 643 West Lake Road in Branchport, New York.
