Hammerheads to Hold Outreach Clinic

Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Hammerheads will be holding their annual Outreach Clinic on Tuesday, July 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Legion Sports Complex. The Hammerheads continue to show their appreciation for the ongoing support from the Port City by giving back to the community and the local youth that may be unable to attend any one of their Wilmington Hammerheads Soccer Camps throughout the spring and summer seasons.
The Hammerheads have invited the Brigade Boys & Girls Club, the Wilmington Family YMCA, and Cape Fear Soccer Club's Outreach Program to Legion Stadium to participate in a half-day camp run by the Hammerheads players and coaching staff. They will incorporate basic soccer skills and fundamentals through games and activities on the turf.
The final hour will involve the Hammerheads grilling and serving up hotdogs on site to the 200 plus youth that will be in attendance, followed by an autograph session with the players and coaching staff.
