Revolution Unveil Team Logo
RICHMOND, VA.: SportsQuest and the Richmond Revolution unveiled today at a press conference held at the historic St. John's Church in Richmond their new team logo.
The Revolution were assisted in the ceremony by the famous patriot Patrick Henry in the very same church where he gave his "Give me liberty, or give me death" speech on March 23, 1775. The logo was revealed to a crowd of fans, players, coaches, media and staff by the newest players of the Revolution as well as potential members of the dance team.
The ceremony took place following the official announcement that local Head Coach Steve Criswell had been hired. Five new players were then introduced to the crowd: DB Stephen Cason of William and Mary, DB Stephen Howell of the University of Richmond, RB Brandon Isaiah of the University of Virginia, DE Lawrence Lewis of Virginia Tech and Damon "Redd" Thompson of Virginia State University.
