Revolution II Head Coach Clint Peay
On his assessment of the match:
Peay: "It was a difficult match. They [Huntsville FC] are a good team, but I thought that we had a slow start to the first half, were a little bit timid in our approach and allowed them to gain confidence. And so, we had a good conversation at halftime, and I felt the effort in the second half was much better played in their end for most of the half, created some decent chances and probably lucky to get out of there with two points, but at the end of the day, they persevered and were resilient and found a way to kind of manage the game."
On Peyton Miller's impact in the second half:
Peay: "He [Peyton Miller] provided some good energy, was able to get forward a couple of times and put in some dangerous crosses. He's just a guy with a bright future and continues to get better every time he jumps on the field."
On the approach heading into a similar environment in Miami next weekend:
Peay: "It's having the desire and the commitment at the end of the day, and I didn't think we had that, like I said, in the first half, and I think we found that in the second half and that's all we can ask for. So, yes, it's hot, it's humid, but we can't control that, but we can control our approach to the game."
