
Renegades sign Lineman Mike Collins

ROME, Ga. - The Rome Renegades have signed OL/DL Mike Collins for the 2006 AIFL season.
Collins, 6-6, 320, started his pro career with the Baltimore Ravens spending the 2002 and 2003 seasons as the Ravens number two center. He spent 2004 with the Green Bay Packers.
Collins was a four-year starter at Wake Forest University, where he was used as both a guard and a tackle. In 2001, as a senior, Collins was selected as a first team All-Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Guard as well as a third team All-American. Collins also played in the 2001 Blue-Grey All-Star game.
Collins is originally from Hickory, North Carolina where he attended Hickory High School.
