OTTAWA â Saturday, June 22, 2002 â The Ottawa Renegades have reduced their roster today, as cornerback Dwayne A. Provo has been released.
The 31-year old veteran Canadian, who has played for four Canadian Football League clubs since being selected with the tenth overall pick by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 1995 Canadian College Draft, is expected to be moved to the practice roster.
Furthermore, the Renegades also announced that the following players have been moved to the injured list: import linebacker Troy Asbell, non-import tackle David De La Perralle, non-import rookie offensive lineman Alexandre Gauthier, non-import wide receiver Andre Kirwan (nine weeks), and non-import linebacker Jason Kralt.
The regular season kicks off on Friday, June 28 against the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders at Frank Clair Stadium. Game time is 7:00 pm.
