
Renegades Go "Wild" with Addition of Former Arizona Wildcat Keoni Fraser

The Lubbock Renegades of the arenafootball2 (af2) announce that lineman Keoni Fraser has been assigned to the team for the 2007 season.
Fraser comes to the Renegades after playing under Renegades Head Coach Rodney Blackshear last season with the Intense Football League's (IFL) Centex Barracudas. The Kailula, Hawaii native, who was originally born in Washington D.C., started in eight games last season as a lineman for the Barracudas. He is a product of the University of Arizona, where he lettered three seasons (1998-2000). At Arizona, Fraser appeared in 40 games, starting in 35 of them. The 6'3" 305-pound 26 year-old made 82 tackles (57 solo) in his college career, including 24 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks. His college statistics also included 2 forced fumbles, 5 pass deflections, 5 fumble recoveries and an interception. Fraser was a 2000 honorable mention All-Pac 10 member and was a member of the 12-1 Arizona squad that claimed the program's best record and claimed the Holiday Bowl title over Nebraska. Prior to Arizona, Fraser attended Kailula High School, where he was the 1998 Team MVP and was a two-time honorable mention all-state member.
The Renegades kick off their inaugural campaign April 6th on the road in Amarillo. Their home opener is scheduled for a 3 PM kickoff on Sunday, April 15th at City Bank Coliseum against the Arkansas Twisters.
